Seniors’s Applaud Under12

Under 12 played Antrim on Monday night and had a shakey start with Antrim winning the first point and getting an early goal past Gavin ( bubbles ) Murray . But with heads up and determination the lads pulled it back to a draw at half time . The second half saw both teams battle out for dominance but the Under 12 excelled themselves and won the match with displays of good teamworm from all quarters of the pitch. The Senior team who were also training on that evening came down to watch as the lads played the last 15minutes and stood applauding the young team back into the changing rooms. Well done lads.

Parents were advised regarding diet and fitness of young players and also the importance of hydration and the need for separate drinking bottles which stops the spread of viruses around teams.  We want to see a healthy eating policy implemented at the club and need parents help in supporting this as it will lead to healthier , fitter and more successful children in sport and education.
